The Sunday Post 10/07/12

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share News about our blogs.
A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received,
and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

My whole week was booked, as usual, the only "rest" I had was yesterday. But last week was tamer than the previous weeks. So here's a recap of the things that transpired here for the past week.

Monday - It's Monday, What Are You Reading? and Reviewed Transcend by Christine Fonseca which was soooo good!

Tuesday - Cover reveal of Julia Crane's Lauren, a spinoff from the Keegan's Chronicles. Really pretty cover.

Wednesday - Author Karen Stivali dropped by with a post about Destiny and Fate, the theme for her novel Meant To Be.

Thursday - Book blast for J.A. Huss' Clutch, the first book in the I Am Just Junco series.

Friday - Reviewed Butterfly Porcupine by Susan Francis and a book blast for A Bit of Magic.

Earlier today I posted my review of Forbidden Mind by Kimberly Kinrade, which was an awesome book. And the second week of appreciating Karen Amanda Hooper as an author. She shared character profiles from Tangled Tides, the book that introduced me to the wonderful world of merfolk. Yay~

What's to expect this week? An excerpt from the following books:

  • To Catch a Bad Guy by Marie Astor
  • Dead Perfect by P.G. Shriver
  • Forever Woman by January Bain.
Character profile from Shadow of the Blood Moon by Robin Waldrop and I'll aslo be reviewing Ember and Iridescent by Carol Oates, and hopefully The Super Spies and the Cat Lady Killer by Lisa Orchard.

Next week I'll be featuring Grasping at Eternity by Karen Amanda Hooper, the author of the month for October. I really love that book because it's unique and the characters are all lovely.
